Extra care is given to each wedding design for your special day. It is best to schedule delivery of your flowers a few days before the big event. To ensure the beauty of the flowers, we recommend the following:
Be Home for Delivery
Have your flowers sent to a location where someone will be available to accept the shipment when it arrives and bring them inside immediately.
Unpack Immediately
Immediately unpack your flowers and store them at a temperature between 40F and 70F degrees. The colder the storage area the better, make sure not to freeze the flowers. Avoid extreme temperatures, direct drafts and sunlight.
Check Your Shipment
When you receive your wedding flowers, open and examine the contents carefully. Verify the shipment against your order confirmation. Bouquets will be labeled for cross reference with your invoice. Leave the labels on your bouquets until your wedding day. If you have any questions about your wedding flowers, please contact us at 1-877-wed2day immediately.
Hydrate
Place your bouquets in water with enclosed preservative immediately. (The water level should not exceed 3-4 inches) Make sure the water does not touch the ribbons and/or stem treatments. Add fresh water daily.
Place Boutonnières & Corsages in the Refrigerator
Boutonnieres and corsages should be stored in your refrigerator. Keep them in their boxes and mist daily. Make sure your refrigerator is not set below 35F degrees or the flowers will freeze. Keep them away from fruits and vegetables that produce ethylene gas. (fruits and vegetables drawers should be kept closed)
Loose Flowers
Loose flowers are provided in the rare occasion that a stem breaks in shipping. Additional boutonniere and corsages will be provided and can be used for table accents or petals.
